When a company gives its people AI, it doesn’t just hand out a login — it runs everything through a governed layer: visibility, policy, data control. Meanwhile a nine-year-old opens an app and their conversations, and everything the model learns about them, live on a server you’ll never see, under rules you didn’t write. The tool families need most is the one nobody built — because the big platforms’ whole model is your data in their cloud. Cornerstone is that missing layer, pointed at the household.
Visibility, not surveillance
You can see that the AI is being used and any real concern it flags — age-graded, so a 7-year-old is fully transparent and a 15-year-old keeps a growing zone of privacy. Not a transcript feed.

What the AI will and won’t do, per child, by age. The rules live with the parent, configured from the Family Wall you already have — not buried in some vendor’s settings.

On the home tier, your family’s AI and its memory run on hardware in your house — the conversations physically never leave. The honest version of “you own your data,” which no big platform can offer.

“Parents can read their kid’s chats” is right for a little one and corrosive for a teenager. So Cornerstone’s visibility decays toward autonomy as a child grows: the AI flags a genuine safety concern — self-harm, grooming, real danger — rather than handing you a transcript, and your child can always see what’s shared and with whom. Get this wrong and it’s a creepy product families uninstall. Get it right and it’s the one they trust with the thing they trust least.
